Getting Creative

With a tiny home of any kind, you have to get creative with well, everything. Atlas has a "sleeper" meant for in the bed, next to our bed on a shelf built by Matthew. His shelf comes complete with storage underneath for all of the cute clothes, books, and toys he's already accumulated.  His rocker and playmat sit where the kitchen table usually does. Poor Dolly is not a fan of her favorite napping spot being taken over by baby stuff. Jellybean sits on a little-used shelf space, with no complaint. When Atlas gets a little bigger and a little more mobile (we just started rolling over!) we'll all be in trouble. But for now, it works well for us. Fat Cat is indifferent to it all, as usual.
Our next project is to take out our couch, and replace it with a small recliner and lots of storage. When we accomplish that, we'll have a whole 12sq feet of extra floor space. So little, but so exciting. Just like this handsome face. We've got big dreams for our small space. And on that note, I wonder what babies dream of?
